How do I create an MB WAY payment request?
Through the Lusopay portal, the API, an online store plugin/module or software integrated with our payment system — in a few seconds.
Does my customer need the MB WAY app installed?
No. The payment request is sent directly to your customer's MB WAY app or their bank's own app, where they confirm the payment with a PIN or biometrics.
How do I know the payment was made?
You're notified automatically by email and/or webhook, as soon as the payment is approved.
Does the payment request expire?
MB WAY gives 4 minutes for the request to be accepted or declined. If the payer takes no action within those 4 minutes, the payment request is automatically cancelled. This is MB WAY's own behaviour, not a limitation imposed by Lusopay.
When do I receive the money?
For MB WAY, SIBS sends the settled amount to Lusopay on the second business day after payment. The day ends at 8 PM. As a rule, on the day Lusopay receives the payment amount, we make an immediate bank transfer to your account.
Are there joining or monthly fees?
No. You only pay for each payment actually received.
